Carbon 14 Celebrates Brand Launch
Up and coming outdoor and active lifestyle brand, Carbon 14, celebrated the launch of its first ever watch collection with a Bahamian Night on October 5, 2009. The brand was also using the evening to celebrate its new partnership with Korath Wright, the first Bahamian athlete ever to compete in the Winter Olympics. The event took place at The Maritime Hotel in the North Cabana and reconnected Mailk Yoba (actor in "Cool Runnings") with Devon Harriss (first Jamaican bobsledder and inspiration for the "Cool Runnings" movie. The two had not seen one another since 1993 when the movie first came out. Other guests who came out to celebrate with Carbon 14 included fashion icon Patrick McDonald, socialites Nancy Bacich and Kristian Laliberte, and may more. Written By: Alison Agudo
